All matters pertaining to planning, development and development control. In particular, the Committee shall have powers to consider and report on the following:
- Developing planning and control.
- Identification of the needs of the district.
- Approval of business and residential applications
- To supervise the pegging of all place of business
- To issue planning permission
- To issue enforcement notices and eviction orders
- To maintain and control cemeteries
- To maintain and control sports grounds and recreational buildings
- To maintain and repair of all council buildings
- To make by-laws and their enforcement
- To prepare estimates
- To provide and maintain roads, bridges and culverts
- Planning prioritization of road networks within council area
- Proposes by-laws related to roads
- Policies on roads
